I'll try another in the city next time
Staff at reception (afternoon and morning) very friendly/courteous. Communal spaces nicely decorated. Free parking in the street possible.
- breakfast was rather simple. no eggs, no cereals, no manchego ( heart of the manchego area!!!) - people next to us made a lot of noise, coming home at 3 AM and then started snoring. Too noisy. You can practically hear every sound from neighbors and hallway. - the price for a stay at the week-end is too high. 40 euros = through the week, would be oke - room was smelly (bathroom)

The staff was rude;
The staff was rude; we had to pay by cash, as they would not accept credit cards. The whole building did not look great and felt a little bit cold and depressing as it is a very austere and religious building. The tv was old.

What was the highlight of Hotel Convento de Santa Clara
Disappointed.
The room, although basic, was clean and the twin beds were comfortable. The reception staff were attentive and friendly, making check-in and check-out easy. Town centre is within easy walking distance. Our booking included dinner and breakfast, but the food choice for dinner was very limited and service was not good.
Disappointed with the evening meal and the restaurant service.

Lovely building and enjoyable stay.
Great building if a little frayed around the edges. Chap on reception was very welcoming. Nice to mooch around to look at the religious artefacts. Room was fine and beds very comfy. Tv was ancient. Lovely dining room where we had a very good lunch for €12 Parking on site was a bonus and it’s free and the room rate is very reasonable
Breakfast let this hotel down and was very limited even at €5 and odd after such a good lunch. Would recommend going into town which is s short walk No credit or debit cards is beyond weird this day and age, especially in a hotel, though we were offered to do a ‘bank transfer’. No thanks and cash it was. Odd !
